Use IPGetter fairly.
These terms cover the IPGetter website, network tools, browser terminal, accounts, embeds and developer API.
Last updated: 19 September 20261. The service
IPGetter provides network information and diagnostic tools on an as-available basis. Results may be approximate, incomplete, delayed or affected by third-party networks and data sources. GeoIP is not GPS and should not be treated as an exact physical location.
2. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for keeping your account and API secrets secure. API keys are intended for your own server-side applications, scripts and services. Do not publish secret keys in client-side code or public repositories. Revoke a key if you believe it has been exposed.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use IPGetter to break into systems, evade access controls, harass others, perform unlawful activity, overload IPGetter or third-party infrastructure, or intentionally circumvent rate limits. Automated use must respect the limits returned by the API and any additional restrictions published with a feature.
4. Network checks
Some tools make outbound DNS, HTTP, TLS, TCP or RDAP requests to targets you supply. Only use these tools in ways you are authorised and legally permitted to use. A successful IPGetter check is not proof that a target is safe, secure, owned by a particular person or suitable for any specific purpose.
5. Availability and changes
Features, limits and endpoints may change as IPGetter develops. Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid breaking versioned API integrations without notice, but free features are not provided with a guaranteed uptime or service-level agreement.
6. No warranty
IPGetter is provided for informational and diagnostic use. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided without warranties about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for decisions made using the results.
7. Privacy
Use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Browser storage and analytics controls are described on the Cookies page.
8. Suspension
IPGetter may block traffic, revoke API keys or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third parties, or where these terms are materially breached.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms or general use of IPGetter can be sent through the support form. Privacy and data-rights requests should be sent to privacy@ipgetter.com.
